Maintenance of Transformer : High Voltage Supply

For EHT and HT supply if the consumer bears the cost of the transformer and maintenance rests with the Board, Maintenance charge shall be as follows:-

1. EHT Supply  -     Rs. 24.00 per KVA of contract demand per month

2. HT Supply    -     Rs. 19.00 per KVA of contract demand per month

Note : The consumer already availing supply at LT for having connected load/contract demand above 50 KW or  60 KVA as may be determined as per clause 3 above shall also come under this and to be billed as per relevant EHT & HT tariff.

The NOTE below shall form an Appendix to the existing "Terms and Conditions of Supply with Schedule of Miscellaneous Charges".

Note :  

1. Rebate on energy charge as shown would be admissible in case payment of electricity bill is made within the due date of payment.

2. Payment of electricity bills beyond due date would attract delayed payment surcharge at the prevailing rate.

3. The electricity duty leviable as per Government of Meghalaya Notification with latest amendments and any other statutory levy, duty, sales tax, toll tax etc., imposed by the Central/State Government or any other authority as per law from time to time shall be charged over and above the tariff.

4. All other schedule of charges including miscellaneous charges such as testing of meters, meter security deposit, load security deposit etc., not covered in this notification shall be as per the pre-revised tariff and existing terms and condition of supply with schedule of miscellaneous of charges of the Board including the latest amendments/revision thereof.
